Emirates Extended Disruption Policy tot eind mei – Update 20
Emirates wil je informeren dat de Disruption Handling Policy werd verlengd voor reisschema’s met reizen tussen 28 februari en 31 mei 2026. Daarnaast bevat deze communicatie ook een aantrekkelijke aanbieding voor NIEUW uitgegeven EK-tickets.
Gratis wijziging:
Elk NIEUW verkocht EK-ticket sinds 2 april 2026 omvat één gratis datumwijziging in dezelfde RBD, op voorwaarde dat deze binnen de geldigheid van het ticket valt. Houd er rekening mee dat een tariefverschil van toepassing is indien wijzigingen betrekking hebben op cabine, RBD, Fare Brand of reisroute.
Zoals u weet, kan de gratis wijziging voor nieuw verkochte tickets, als gevolg van de huidige disruption policy, worden onderverdeeld in twee scenario’s:
a. Ticket uitgegeven op 2 april 2026 voor een reisdatum tot en met 31 mei 2026 – Uw klant kan herboekingsopties aangeboden krijgen volgens het huidige EK disruption waiver beleid. Voor verdere wijzigingen wanneer de reis buiten de disruption waiver-periode valt, gelden de standaard tariefregels voor alle daaropvolgende wijzigingen.
b. Ticket uitgegeven op 2 april 2026 voor een reisdatum vanaf 1 juni 2026 en later – Uw klant heeft recht op één gratis wijziging (herboeking of herroutering, volgens de tariefregels) en dient, indien van toepassing, het verschil in tarief en belastingen te betalen.
Disruption policy:
EK bijgewerkte Disruption Policy 28FEB26 – 31MAY26:
- Omboeken/herrouteren binnen dezelfde regio tot 15 juni 2026 in elke RBD binnen dezelfde cabine.
- Omboeken/herrouteren binnen dezelfde regio na 15 juni 2026 in dezelfde RBD en binnen de geldigheid van het ticket.
- Terugbetaling toegestaan voor tickets met vertrek tot en met 31 mei 2026.
De volledige policy is beschikbaar op het Emirates Partners Portal. Zorg ervoor dat u steeds de meest recente Disruption Handling Policy op het portaal raadpleegt, waarin de toepasselijke procedures en richtlijnen voor het behandelen van getroffen boekingen worden beschreven.
Option 1 – Rebook on EK flight

Flight combination
For Travel up to 31 May 2026 – Using the Re-protection Agreement, book either via the closest EK point i.e. EK + OAL interline segments (operating flight only i.e. not codeshare flight), or entirely on OAL interline segment (operating flight only i.e. not codeshare flight).
Re-protection on OAL for rerouting/rebooking is for affected itineraries (flights cancelled, diverted or delayed by more than 1 hour) only within Operational Window of 72 hours to departure. Reprotection on OAL should be used as the last resort and should be offered exhausting all other re-accommodation options.
Option 3 – Reprotection on OTHER AIRLINES flight at NO ADC

A refund is applicable on unused flight coupons and cancellation charges are waived for travel up to 31 May 2026.
Involuntary refunds to be processed ONLY through your GDS, not via BSP with refund remarks ‘INVOL Refund’:
1. For refunds via Galileo above remark to be added in “Airline Authority” box.
2. For refunds via Worldspan above remark to be added in “Airline Authority” box.
3. For refunds via Sabre above remark to be added in “Waiver” box.
4. For refunds via Amadeus above remark to be added as “TRFU/WA Waiver Code”
For refunds via EK Gateway remark “INVOL REFUND” to be added in the "Waiver Code box".
NDC/Emirates Gateway users:
We have implemented an exceptional system change for INVOL refund that will allow all our NDC B2B users to auto process fully unutilised tickets through EGW and GDS without penalty.
Please note that partially flown tickets and non-refundable tickets would require manual processing or through BSP RA.
